1. Ganesha and Ganpati both are Sanskrit words comprising of two words – Gana means a group while isha and pati mean lord, ruler and master. In Tamil Language, Ganpati is fondly known as Pillai or Pillaiyar. He is not only worshiped by Hindus but by Buddhists too. In Buddhism, Ganesha is referred to as Vinayaka and is worshiped in countries like Tibet, China, and Japan. In Burmese, as Maha Peinne. In Thai, as Phra Phikanet. And in Sri Lanka as Gana Deviyo
2. There are 108 names of Lord Ganesha such as, Vignaharta, Vakratunda, Pitambara, Lambodara, Mangal Murti and many more. He is knonw to haave eight incarnations – Vakratunda, Ekdanta, Mahodara, Gajavaktra, Lambodara, Vikata, Vighnaraja and Dhumravarna according to Mudgala, Purana. While Mooshak, the mouse is Ganesha’s vahan in 5 out of 8 incarnations, Lord Ganesha, in the other 3, is also seen with a lion as Vakratunda, with a peacock as Vikata, and with Shesha, the divine serpent as Vighnaraja.
3. After Lord Shiva severed Ganesha’s head who was standing guard while Goddess Parvati was bathing and refused to allow Shiva to enter the house, Parvati wanted Ganesha to be brought back to life. The head of the first creature (elephant) who Brahma encountered was brought back & placed on Ganesha’s body
4. According to Brahmavavart Purana,, Parshuram came to visit Lord Shiva but Ganesha stopped him from entering as Shiva was meditating. Angered, Parshuram struck Ganesha with his Pharasaa (an axe) which was given to him by Shiva. Ganesha took the blow on his one tusk in respect of his father’s weapon. Thus, Lord Ganesha is known as Ekdanta
5. While in South India, it is believed that Ganesha is a Brahmachari, it is generally believed that Lord Ganesha was married to the twin sisters Riddhi (Goddess of prosperity) and Siddhi ( Goddess of Intellect) who bore Him two sons Shubha (auspiciousness) and Labha (Profit)

1. Lakshmi is the goddess of Fortune, Power, Luxury, Beauty, Fulfilment and Good Luck in Hinduism. She’s worshipped the most on Diwali, the festival of lights, when according to tradition, people would put small oil lamps outside their homes in hopes of the Goddess coming to bless them

1. Goddess Durga is the incarnation of goddess Parvati who was created embodying the collective energy of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Goddess Durga received features from each god – face from Shiva, ten arms from lord Vishnu, feet from Lord Brahma and so on. They also gave her the weapons such as trident, conch, thunderbolt, sword, and spear and decked her up in warrior amour and jewels. The god of the mighty mountains gave her the lion to ride with a thunderous roar. And it is the reason why goddess durga maa powers are the strongest ever than every other deity
2. Mahishasura, a half buffalo and half-human king of the Asuras, worshipped Lord Brahma with great devotion, and was granted a boon that no man could kill him.
